Home Depot Laguna Hills: Rodent Droppings at the Hardware Store Snack Bar

24332 El Toro Rd, Laguna Hills, CA 92653

You Can Do It. The Rodents Already Did.

Home Depot's whole brand is helping you fix things around the house. Ironically, they need to fix a few things around their own house — specifically, the rodent droppings in their food service area.

The Laguna Hills Home Depot is under a 1-week reinspection (that's the urgent kind) to verify the removal of rodent droppings and continued abatement of vermin activity. When the inspector gives you a 1-week deadline instead of the usual 3 weeks, they're not messing around.

The Home Improvement Irony

Home Depot literally sells pest control products. Aisle 12. Rodent traps, poison bait, steel wool for sealing gaps — it's all right there. And yet, their own food area has rodent droppings.

This is like a locksmith getting locked out of their own house. Except instead of embarrassment, it's a health code violation.

The Bottom Line

Most people don't think of Home Depot as a food destination, but they do have a snack bar area that falls under health inspection jurisdiction. If you're grabbing a hot dog between lumber runs at this location, maybe wait until after the reinspection clears.

And hey, while you're there, maybe pick up some mouse traps for them. They clearly need the help.
