Angel Stadium: Cockroaches at the Ballpark

2000 E Gene Autry Way, Anaheim, CA 92806

Take Me Out to the Roach Game

You know what pairs great with a $17 beer and a Dodger Dog? According to health inspectors: cockroach abatement.

Angel Stadium — home of the Los Angeles Angels, 45,000 screaming fans, and apparently some six-legged ones too — is under reinspection for cockroach activity in their food facility. A follow-up is scheduled for April 22, 2026 to verify "continued cockroach abatement."

That word "continued" is doing some heavy lifting. It means they've been working on the cockroach situation, but it's not resolved yet. The roaches are still in the lineup.

The Seventh Inning Stretch... for Pest Control

Look, stadium food isn't exactly fine dining. Everyone knows that. But there's a difference between "overpriced nachos" and "overpriced nachos prepared near cockroach activity." One is a tradition. The other is a health code violation.

The inspector scheduled a reinspection for 4/22/2026. If you're heading to a game before then, maybe stick to the sealed packaged stuff. Or just eat before you go.

The Bottom Line

Is this shocking? Stadium kitchens serve thousands of people per game in massive facilities that are hard to pest-proof. But it's still worth knowing about. Especially at $17 a beer — you'd think some of that markup could go toward pest control.

We'll update this when the reinspection results come in. Go Angels. Leave the roaches.
